How to Properly Care Kashgari Pottery

1. Use for Dry Foods & Decor Only:

Our Kashigari ceramics are crafted using traditional glazing that may contain traces of lead. These pieces are safe for serving dry foods  like BBQ, snacks, or pancakes  and perfect for home decoration.
Please avoid hot, oily, or liquid foods, and do not use in microwaves or dishwashers.

2. Maintain Shine & Freshness

Weather and humidity can cause white mineral dots to appear on the surface  this is completely natural. To keep your pottery clean and glossy, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth every 15–20 days.

3. Handle Gently, Display Proudly:

Each piece is handmade and delicate. Avoid dropping or stacking roughly. Handle with care and display it in a dry, shaded space to preserve its finish.

4. Embrace the Beauty of Imperfection:

No two Kashigari pieces are identical tiny glaze spots, brush strokes, and shade differences are what make each one authentic and full of character. These marks tell the story of real human craft, not machine perfection.

5. Keep Away from Direct Heat:

Our pottery is not heat-resistant. Avoid placing it near open flames, stoves, or ovens. Enjoy it as a decorative or serving piece for cool, dry use only.
